THERE IS NO WAY THEY GOT 4 or 5 STARS on other fake review websites. WORST SCAM EVER!
American Home Shield is a total SCAM There is no place to leave zero stars or Negative 10 stars. they charge you $1000 a year and then deny all claims you file and charge YOU for sending out warranty workers that have no idea what they are doing to try and diagnose very simple problems. Then because these sub-par techs cant fix your problems you end up with MORE repairs cuz they wrecked something else in the process of trying to fix the first problem (even though the first problem never actually got fixed) and NONE of the repairs are actually covered because of the very small print in the contract that says there are loopholes for Everything. But you don't find out this warranty repair (and any other warranty repair ever conceived because of some loophole) isn't covered until everything is done and they deny your claim.
then they send you a bill for Collections if you don't pay the cost to FILE a claim with them (EVEN THOUGH THEY DIDNT FIX ANYTHING BUT RATHER SENT OUT SUB-PAR WORKERS AND MADE THE PROBLEM WORSE). . SO THEN YOU CANCEL and they Keep Charging you because they say you didnt talk to the right representative and so they keep charging you a monthly payment cuz they refused to cancel you. Then i waited on Hold for an Hour and 37 minutes only to talk to the WRONG PERSON AGAIN!!!~ WTF!
what a scam. how are these people still in Business?

You only have a loss for any charges billed after you canceled the warranty IF they refused to refund (provided you have a dated confirmation email). Yes, their business model is a scam. Consumers should realize that similar to the heavily advertised car warranties, if there was money to be made, every mechanic, electrician, plumber (and others) would be offering these warranties themselves.
