Last week, an electrician told me that my bathroom outlet was not "grounded" and that it would require authorization from AHS to complete the work. Last night AHS left me a voice mail stating that the electrician said it was too dangerous for him or ANY OTHER electrician to do the work.
What? So they, based on an inexperienced or incompetent electrician, said they would have to deny my claim. This is a bait and switch tactic and I'm very unhappy.
I figure if they would fix something that I see can be done on internet videos, then I have reason to worry about a busted pipe or furnace not being covered for whatever reason. Not worth it, and I'm going to shop for another policy elsewhere.
