I placed a work order on 10 Jun 2018 to have my AC unit repaired. After finding out that a technician would not be available for 4 days, I called to get it expedited.

The company that they assigned never showed up for 2 days and then had to order a part. The part was supposed to arrive on Friday but didn't arrive, I got locked in for a time the following Monday. The repair company took another job in front of mine because it was on the way. I called to talk to a supervisor 5 times about this situation and every time, none is available.

The person in the authorization department called them while I was on hold and came back and justified the repair company's excuse to take another job in front of mine. Eight days later and outside temperature in the 90's and my unit is still not fixed.

I fully get waiting on parts but I am American home shields customer, they should have handled this way differently. Once the repair is done, I will be cancelling my contract and NEVER use them again.

My air conditioning has been broken for 5 weeks, we've known the issue since the first day (leaky coil), the high today is supposed to be 97 degrees, and I can't get American Home Shield to do anything. I call them at least once a day.

Last week they insisted on a "second opinion" on the coil.

Even the guy they sent out didn't have any reason why they would ask for that. American Home Shield is the worst.
