I made a claim on March 8th for my Kitchen Oven and also my Dishwasher, a vendor came to my house on March 10th. He stated that my Dishwasher needed a new motor and pump, the Kitchen Oven needed a new circuit board and he would contact American Homeshield about the matter.
Several days went by and I had heard nothing from the Vendor nor American Home Sheild, so I contacted the vendor and he said they were waiting from AHS to get back with them. I then let a couple more days go by and on the 17th of March I reached out to AHS and the customer service represented stated that they never received any information from the vendor and she tried to call them while I was on the phone with her. The vendor didn't answer so she left a voice mail and also emailed them to hopefully get a response. Fast forward to the 23rd of March still no call from the vendor and the Supervisor said she sent the situation to the escalation department and was asked to give 72 hours for a response.
So on the 28th of March I reached back out to AHS and they were talking circles about trying to reach the vendor again, and it makes NO sense in doing that since the vendor has yet to respond. I have had to spend over $1,200 dollars for food to feed my family since we eat healthy and don't eat fried food. I would NOT recommend AHS under good faith with the terrible service that I have received.
Here it is the 29th of March and I have not heard back from AHS about either my services being fixed. This is terrible and back customer service, if I was able to give this no stars I would.
User's recommendation: I wouldn't recommend this company in good faith to ANYONE.
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.
American Home Shield Pros: Setting up original appointment, Protects against expensive appliance repair, Quick turn on getting a technician.
American Home Shield Cons: Contractor, Timing, Terrible assistance, Customer servicepromptnessway treated me.
