American Home Shield - Unprofessional Communication, notification of service and rude customer service.
My heating system went out! I called for service.
Due to the high volume of calls for AC service in my particular area I was told I would have to wait a week to source a vendor. If not successful the they would go outside the area for a qualified vendor. I had to consistently call to check on the status of their search without satisfactory replies. I was made to feel like I was bugging the service rep.
When I was finally notified by the vendor they were 180 compared to the rudeness in customer service from AHS.
When the time came to check the status of the vendor's visit, meaning ordering another unit I was told they would not only contact the vendor but notify me when the unit had been shipped. NONE OF THAT HAPPENED!
I had to remain diligent in contacting them only to be confronted but yet another rude rep. This is the first time I have had this kind of difficulty and it will be my last!
Reason of review: Poor customer service.
