My HVAC repair should be simple and quick. The company has been out to my home two times.
The first time they put in 5lbs of R-22 with a cost of $200 out of pocket. The refrigerant leaked out the next day and it took another 2 weeks for the contractor to be sent out. The contractor had to approve the replacement of the coil and it took a week for AHS to approve. It has now been 25 days without A/C and the contractor has missed two appointments to come out and replace the coil.
We have been on hold with AHS during this assignment for a total of 3+ hours with no resolution to any of these issues. My wife just got off the phone after a hour and ten minute hold time for them to tell us that we need to call back during business hours.
In the meantime the contractor will not call us back or let us know that they will not be showing up.
This has been a nightmare!!! Money wasted!!!
Reviewer is in unhappy mood. This person is quite happy with initial contact and stated that there is a room for improvement of wait times for repair and bad customer service- bad service-. Please immediately contact the author of this review to discuss poor customer service of a product or service. American Home Shield needs to issue a full refund according to poster's claims.
