Placed a call for service to my pool and AquaTech was dispatched. The tech came to my home disassembled my pool pump, left parts scattered across the area and left.

Upon contacting the company they stated that american home shield was investigating the claim. american home shield called (Justin was the person) and informed me that the pump would be replaced under my warranty. He then placed me on hold and Joey (rude, unprofessional, aggressive) informed me that the tech from aquatech had sent a picture of my pool and that the water was green so the repair would not be covered. When I asked him what the color of the water had to do with the repair, he stated that the pump had not worked in months, that he knew pools because his grandmother had a pool.

I informed him that the pump had worked in the last week or so and he told me it hadn't. I then asked that he escalate my call which he denied. I then asked him why the tech took my pump apart and left parts scattered about. His response was that the tech would come back and put the pump back together.

I informed him that I didn't want that tech to return and he then stated that only this company would be dispatched to my home. I again asked to speak to someone higher and Joey again denied my request. The following week Ashley from AHS called and asked to verify my address. When I asked why she stated that AHS was sending me a check for $200.

I asked why and she stated that I requested a payout for the pool repair. I informed her that I didn't and asked to be transferred to escalations and was transferred to Jonathan. After discussing the claim for a few minutes with Jonathan he stated that he understood my concern to not want the same tech to my home. He informed me needed to talk to Joey and promised to follow up that day.

Later that day the rude, aggressive, unprofessional joey called me and demanded that I let aquatec return to my home to reassemble the pump. I again informed him that I was uncomfortable with tem returning to my home and he stated that the repair would not be done then.

It has now been 3 weeks since the pump was disassembled, the pool was left in service mode thus no water has moved. Now I have a tadpole infestation, murky green water and loos of use of my pool.

Reason of review: Warranty issue.

Monetary Loss: $10000.

Preferred solution: Complete the job immediately. The new tech is working very slow. Had to call him multiple times..
