AHS repaired the a/c in rental properties a couple of times and there were no "extra charges". I only paid the standard deductible each time. Today, for my own home, I received a $2K bill from the A/C company. The A/C company said AHS only covered a portion of the repair. The A/C company has not returned my call or emails to explain the charges. They ordered parts and sent me a bill. AHS customer service said they would have the company send me an itemized bill and the covered charges were for modifications, permits and code requirements. The itemized bill from the a/c company stated $1500 in modifications, copper, insulation, and refrigerant. No reply from the a/c company AHS contracted, and no reply to my email today. I hope they don't think they will access my house to do work without explaining their extra charges. AHS contract companies are not always legitimate. User's recommendation: Be assertive with the AHS vendors before they do the work and bill you. Confirm what they are billing with AHS because our first bill just listed charges and not covered.

Does warranty include hauling away old appliance?
I have a washer that cant be repaired. Does my policy include disposal of the old washing machine? Overall I have no complaints except that there is no way to communicate with them.

No complaint, i just needed to make a change on my sign on info. Person i spoke with, Candice, was very helpful and nice. She made the changes i needed done to my account and set up a service call for me.

Failure to provide good service
4 months before repaired or replaced refrigerator and 2-3 weeks before repair of air conditioner or furnace. Repaired the furnace, and now it is making a sound like a revved up motorcycle. If we want to stay cool, we have to put up with the noise. User's recommendation: read the fine print
