Pay for no svc.

Paid for the a/c check $75.00 and they showed but nothing was done. They also filed a form which closed the acct saying they completed the job. No refund or anything from American Home Shield. Nothing

For someone to do the job

Moved homes and received an additional fee of $70 for "Admin"

Have been a customer for years and we moved to a different home. They charged us an admin cancellation fee of $70 and had to start a new account for the new home? Tried to reach them for weeks, with no reply.

User's recommendation: be careful - customer service is weak.

My daughter had an account with AHS years ago, and they did her the same way when her air conditioning unit stopped working. It took several months to get the problem corrected, and when they did finally replace the unit the account was closed.

You can't talk to anyone with any power. those nice fellows in Mumbai do their best but can't expedite anything. my refrigerator was continuing to damage my kitchen floor for four months

my refrigerator started leaking and damaging the floor in November. just this week I finally got confirmation that they will replace it; for four months, they insisted on replacing just the door (which cost nearly as much as the appliance) I had to pay for it myself and am awaiting reimbursement

To Whom it may concern On 3/13/22 I called that my refrigerator wasn't cooling. Gulf Appliance St Petersburg To repair called me that Monday and did a video call.

He said he would be would get parts Tuesday and Tech would come out Wednesday. The tech Tom did show up Wednesday didn't check my refrigerator just clean the coils said my Refrigerator would be cool in 24 hours. Called back and called the man in the office and he said Tom would be back on Friday. Waited and called Tom he said he didn't have a work order and was in the office that day but he did come out shot my refrigerator with gas and said to wait 24 hours again.

I did and still wasn't working called AHS 3/19/22 they reopen the ticket and I called back and they said they would be out today the 24th .Well I waited all day again called and AHS said they were scheduled. So I called Gulf App. Repair and the girl in the office said AHS canceled the call so I called AHS back and they said they didn't cancel and she called the office. Now it is going on 2 weeks with my refrigerator not working.

The one man I talked to at gulf was very rude to me an to the AND rep that called him and Tom the tech was more interest ed to talking on his cell phone then actually checking out my refrigerator. My complaint is with Gulf Appliances Service in St Petersburg. Fl.

AHS should drop their contract being they are not servicing the customers. AHS customer support were very good and they tried to address my complaints but Gulf app Service I give them an ***

Terrible customer service

First, their automated answering service is terribly slow and cumbersom. There is no option anywhere to speak to a human being. They give you an arbitrary window of 4 hours for the service provider they choose, to handle the serivice. If that doesn't work for you because you have a doctor appointment, too bad. Maybe the next day. It doesn't matter if your house is being flooded or the heat system isn't working and it is freezing cold at night. They have no flexibility and give you no options. Take it or leave it! The only way you get an option to speak to a person is to first cancel the service request you were given. \They are very cavalier and unaccommodating. I

User's recommendation: Buyer beware. I will never buy an AHS warrant again.

Water leak from 2nd floor

With a population of 450000 people and rapidly growing AHS needs more than 2 plumbers to provide service Last week had to wait a WEEK to come unplug kitchen sink!!! This week had flood in upstairs bathroom which flood downstairs. Still waiting for call back just to schedule. No water in house. Very hard for elderly customers

Poor service

We had a broken ice makrr in our refrigerator, paid our $100.00 fee & waited for a company to contact us with appointment. The guy from (AGP) Appliance Guard Pro comes in asking us the issue was, we explained issued. He opened door to freezer & said ok I see crack & we will order a new ice maker & when it is available to install we will contact you to come install it. So a a week later we get a text from AGP that they AHS doesn't cover ice bins, nothing about the ice maker its self. We called AHS & were told that AGP said the refrigerator was only 3-4 yrs old & since abused & mistreated the ice maker it was not covered. Per AHS customer service we are just going to such use of an ice maker.

STILL WAITING FOR REPAIRS FROM JULY 21!!

We contacted American Home shield for repairs of kitchen appliances, MIcrowave, Ice Make and Dishwasher. The repair company fixed the Microwave about 6 weeks later. However we have been going round and round in circles trying to get our Dishwasher and Ice make fixed for 8 MONTHS!!!! They blame the vendor saying they have to order parts and waiting for approval, then they say they have to order, the parts- they say they are going to escalate the issue, but NEVER FIX IT!!!! They have no intention of fixing our appliances, its absolutely terrible. I would stay away!

Hot water heater not working

I started with submitting a request for my hot water as it stopped working.. they gave me a plumber to contact it was a little rocky at first. He submitted the required paperwork on Tuesday and it's now Thursday waiting for a purchase order from AHS, the water is waiting plumber called about a p.o. the supplier still doesn't have it. I have an appointment to get it installed but as of now no p.o., called they told me to call again tomorrow. It's been since Sunday without hot water AHS had no urgency to help getting the water heater.. After thanksgiving I was without heat for about three weeks.. help
