HORRIBLE SERVICE AND HORRIBLE COMPANY!

This company is horrible. They really need to audit. They have a cancel option and when you cancel they still charge you and within less than 24 hours BUT they say they will refund you in 14-21 days it took them less than 24 hours to take out but a lifetime to return. Then you pay your monthly bill, your service charge, and there person come out and you have to pay them. Why pay 3 times? This company has really rubbed me the wrong way and I feel as if something is not right within the company especially with the pricing.

Insulting and terrible customer service agent

I called on 3/26/2021 around 1:45pm. I spoke with a male agent that did not state his name clearly at the beginning at all to ask about getting our $100 service fee reimbursed due to issue not being fixed the first time (or first 6x with this exact issue and AC company actually.) He agent began yelling and talking over me as I simply asked that I speak with someone above him/supervisor. He than proceeded to yell at me that I can "call back and talk to someone else that way" and hung up. He refused to allow me to speak, then he would just speak over me by shouting and then to hang up without allowing me to speak with a supervisor.

Service Problems

Next week it will the 9th time for a contractor to come for the same appliance, my ice cube maker. This is excessive in my opinion. The last tech said it is not repairable. Every part for my ice cube maker has been replaced. I have been so distraught over this. In addition, Im losing money from having to take time off. This whole process started back on January 4th. I been trying to reach someone one in corporate and I never get any further than the customer service rep thats in another country. Can you please get this to an individual that can reach out to me via phone? It would be greatly appreciated.

Poor Service

I made two claims and the contractor failed to show up. The most recent I wasted an entire day of work because of this and was not contacted at all. This is beginning to make me question AHS and I have had them for over 20yrs this recent lack of customer service has me really looking for other providers.

Poor customer service and below average contractors

I've been waiting for a month now for my stovetop and microwave to be repaired. om what I can see not clear communication between contractors and AHS. The contractor keeps putting me off and I don't know even if needed parts have been ordered. AHS basically telling me they can do nothing until a series of attempts have been made meanwhile this is costing us and very stressful.Try another

Cancellation

I have tried to cancel my contract because we sold the house and no longer need the service, we called 3 times already and someone supposed to call us back from the cancellation departmenti,but so far no call back.We are thinking on cancelling service on the house we live in if this matter is not solved soon.David Diaz.

Question of service denial

I have a contract that includes the heating system and ductwork. The technician came out and found that the duct to my main bedroom has collapsed due to a faulty helix coil (whatever that is). AHS is refusing to repair and refuses to let me talk to their authorization department, manager or supervisor to get an explanation. End result; I am sitting in 28-30 degree weather with no heat to my main bedroom with a home warranty that says it will be fixed but the company refuses to fix it. I need answers, or I have no choice but to find another company that will honor their contract, Please get back with me so I can get some heat to my bedroom.

Not What We Were Promised!

My dishwasher started covering my dishes with a disgusting sticky black/gray substance which stained all of our silverware and stainless steel and was very difficult to get off of my dishes. I called AHS (American Home Shield), our Warranty Company, and they asked for a credit card # before they would do anything. Boy, that made my problem, and me, feel real significant! Then they finally scheduled a repairman to come look at the machine, one week later. The repairman sent by AHS said the cause of the sticky gunk on my dishes was from my dish racks. I found that hard to believe since they were in perfect condition. Still he was the "expert" so I let him take the helm. He ordered new ones. One month later and we still have no new dish racks. My husband called AHS this morning because we were told the racks would be delivered today. The woman on the other end of the line said there was no such claim or names as ours. She hung up on my husband. What am I to do? I have been washing so many dishes that it takes up most of my evening. And my hands are a smooth red rash! It's hard to believe we are being treated this way by the "#1 Home warranty Company" in America but, we are. Rex Tibbens, I understand you are the new President and CEO of AHS. Can you please help us? We can call AHS until we are blue in the face but nothing is going to happen until someone with authority intervenes for us. With respect, Morris (J.R.)
