Poor to terrible reliability of customer service.

Purchased American Home Shield warranty (contract #237329442) May 7, 2018. Contract provided 30 day cancellation and refund. Cancelled on May 29, 2018. Refund of $595.00 affirmed and committed by American Home Shield to be sent in 7 to 10 days. Called again on July 3 and July 13. Was told both times refund was in process; would be sent in 7 to 14 days. Numerous telephone contacts on status of refund transferred to "retention department" were unresponsive. Better Business Bureau Memphis, TN contacted. Issue acknowledged and affirmed by American Home Shield.

As of August 9, 2018 issue of refund still unresolved.

Did you buy a plan hoping to get a new HVAC system and they denied it for pre-existing conditions? That happens all the time.
