Only very good at collecting monthly premiums and bad on honoring claims.

They send you unprofessional, incompetent and worst reviewed contractors

so they pay them much lesser fees

Oh it is much worse than AHS merely paying “lesser fees”. That makes it sound like they actually PAY fees.

The reality is that their contractors are only trying to collect your service fee deductible and provide NOTHING, or as little as possible, in exchange for becoming one of their top preferred contractors. The “preferred” contractors are not “preferred” by the customers, but rather AHS, because of the knack they have for not charging AHS anything at all. The contractors go out and make a diagnostic visit for the $100 service fee, and then don’t bill AHS any more, so that they can capture all the calls in the area that AHS has. It’s such a scam!!!!

Not a good value for what you pay in premiums.

The few few times you might come out ahead with no hassle on small stuff are just not worth the trouble on the big stuff. The more expensive the problem, the greater the hassle.
