American Home Shield - Poor customer service
Wait time on the telephone is unacceptable. Wait time up to an hour at times.
Inability to comprehend operators when trying to explain a problem for assistance. Recently charged a second service fee on an HVAC after they tried to call for a senior service tech to fix the problem. Neither the HVAC company NOR AHS bothered to tell us it would be a separate service call, especially since it was 3 times the company had to come out in a 2 week period.
There is not a way to give feedback online especially when it has a tag line to give it. There is no followup from operators when they say they are attempting to fix a problem and will call you back.
Reason of review: Poor customer service.
Monetary Loss: $100.
