New ReviewerI filed a claim with American Home Shield on November 23, 2020 regarding my oven and exhaust hood fan. This was right before Thanksgiving so I expected some type of delay due to the holiday.
The technician came out the Monday after the holiday and informed me that I actually needed a new oven as this one was seeping gas and that he would need to cut the gas off to the oven and the stove top for our safety. AHS didn't want to replace the entire oven only the parts so I have been waiting for the parts to come in. Of course they don't communicate to try to keep you informed as to what is going on so I have placed over a dozen calls to them to get status updates. I've spoken to customer service and been forwarded to the "parts" department to try to get information about when I could expect to have my oven repaired so that I can cook again.
Fast forward to February 24th and yep you guessed it my oven is still NOT REPAIRED...still waiting on the part because it appears that the wrong part was ordered. I did call and speak to a customer service rep named "A" today and he was the most helpful of all the people that I have spoken to during this ordeal. He said he would escalate my claim and to give them 48 hours to repair, replace, or buyout. None of the other reps even mentioned any of these options.
3 months and counting but yes they are steady taking my monthly payment and took the payment for this claim back in November 2020. I really want to find a number or email for the CEO of this company and let them know about the *** poor service that their company is giving to their customers.
