When I attempted to cancel my mother's AHS service that was attached to her mortgage the effort was a complete disaster that reeked of dishonesty and stalling. I called their main number on less than 5 occasions and each time after informing the representative that I wished to cancel the service she said she needed to transfer me to that department.
Each time I was put on hold status and no one ever picked up my call. Just for curiosity sake I remained on hold for over 20 minutes with not so much as a "we will be with you" update.
Eventually I had to sent certified letters to the mortgage company and to AHS to get the service cancelled.
I was due a refund for AHS for partial year service and of course I received the check weeks later and it was out of date as of the date I received it. My personal opinion is that this company is a farce and should be avoided.
