Hot water heater (HWH) went out on 1-17. Sent a plumber out.
Plumber took time ordering new HWH. Had agent call plumbing co. to check status.. 1-19 called plumbing co and said waiting on AHS to order HWH.
Called AHS said they ordered, but no one knew where it was coming from and said 5- 10 day. 1-20 Called AHS again. Said HWH in transit. Asked to call company where ordered from to escalate.
Said they have no way to contact them. Agent call plumbing co and did not have HWH yet. If ordered on 1-17, there is no way it should take this long to get a water heater. Plumbing co called said they will have on Monday 1-23.
That is 7 days without hot water. That is unacceptable. I pay for a warrant program and something in this process is wrong. It is winter and no place to shower.
How does plumbing co know they will get on Monday and AHS does not. Why are these not ordered locally? I was told by AHS and Plumbing they do not know where it is coming from.
These should be basic water heaters, no special order. And to top it off plumbing co already cashed check without any service done.
