AHS cannot resolve a simple issue. We added a portable hot tub and also our septic to our last renewal.
We now have a circuit board go out on our hot tub but now they are saying a "portable" hot tub isn't covered. It specifically had an option to check on the renewal documents to choose Portable or In Ground. We checked "portable". We get no where with their representatives overseas.
We had a representative that sounded drunk so that was a waist of our time. All they keep telling us is that we are not covered due to it being a portable above ground hot tub. We try to get a representative from the U.S. but that's just impossible.
We try to speak to a supervisor, which is also impossible. They say the supervisor isn't working at this time. Then they put us on hold b/c they do not want to deal with you. Then when they finally come back on the line after 45 min hold, the call is disconnected.
At this point we want our money back that we've paid them b/c they had no problem taking the money but failed to let us know that portable hot tub isn't covered. Email is hotrodhenson55@***.com

Monetary Loss: $400.
Preferred solution: Full refund.
American Home Shield Cons: Need representatives that work in united states and not overseas, Have a supervisor available at all times, No drunk representatives answering calls, Hold times are unacceptable.
