American Home Shield - Really bad service with AHS

Ii live in Fl and summer is hot. I have ahs. I called as my inside air cond unit was leaking. The rep on phone told me to shut off unit. I did. She told me she would put this call as an emergency. I waited hours no call. I called back another rep said one company could not come for a couple of days. I am sitting in a hot house. And she said she couldn't get hold of the second one on the list. Only two companies available which is ridiculous in this area which needs air cond. I asked her to try another zip code near my residence, and she still couldn't come up with any more. Then I was told I could get my own company as long as they called ahs to verify it was ok but I had to pay them for the call and then have company send in report and they would reimburse me. Another red tape bs. I did call a company myself and paid it . the problem was a clogged filter which the company fixed in little time. I am not bothering to send in for a remittance. If AHS doesn't have enough companies to service the areas in a timely manner then they shouldn't be telling customers they will always answer calls for service. Get more companies so you can service your customers. I have written a complaint to them and they never even responded to me. Great customer service.
