Hot water heater went out on July 5, 2021. Put in service request that evening.

Took 5 days for someone to physically make it to our home to even look at the problem. The company they sent was Visalia Plumbing. He put a band-aid on the problem and told us it needed to be replaced because it was almost 40 yrs old, and he would let AHS know that we needed it replaced. No one from either company called to let us know anything.

The water heater went out again on 7/23. When we called AHS, they told us they knew of the problem and that we were in line for replacement. Visalia Plumbing would do the installation, but that money was out of our pocket in the amount of $850 and installation couldn't happen right away. We were still without hot water for another 2 wks.

before they came. Good thing we live where the weather is hot. Showers were challenging though. We are now dealing with a 2nd service request that we can not even get a response for.

Our washer stopped last Thurs. (5 days ago) and we have yet to speak with a repair company. AHS dispatched a company that does not even have the courtesy to call us with an estimated day or time to let us know when they may arrive to take care of this problem. We have called the repair company 4 times with no return call, or we may get a phone message that tells us their mailbox is full.

We have called AHS on this matter 3 times now. We've gotten a different person to deal with in customer service every time we called, we deal with a full explanation of the problem all over again. Ask for a manager, and they'll tell you that they are in meetings. So we have requested a new company for the repair.

They said someone would call within an hour to discuss and reassign a new repair company. We have not heard from them yet and wonder how long it will take to get this service request resolved before we lose patience.

We have had terrible experiences with AHS. AHS is an awful warranty company that hires the low end of companies to repair and replace our expensively warranted items (paying them over $800/yr.). This company also hires customer service people that are bodies at home in countries all over the world, even got a guy who told me he was in Columbia (the country)!

Does not matter that they overcharge monthly and then expect us to take care of additional costs they don't want to be responsible for.

They really need an overhaul of their company to assess and learn to treat their customers with respect and consideration. Not recommending them to anyone ever!

User's recommendation: Not on your life would I recommend this organization.

Monetary Loss: $850.

Preferred solution: Deliver product or service ordered.
