Our water heater blew a leak, and we currently have water pouring down the exterior wall of our home, through an attic, and our light sockets under the attic heater. We called American Home Shield (for the second time in our contract with them- the first was also a *** They told us there is nothing that can be donde tonight.

They upgraded our issue to "expedited" which means someone will contact us in the morning to fix our issue. Their advice in the meantime was "try to make the water stop." We asked for the number of the company who is supposed to come out tomorrow so we could contact them. They informed us they DO provide emergency services, but through AHS, they are not allowed to provide them to us.

So from every direction, we've been told we have to sit while our water heater pours water down the outside wall of our wood-sided home, through light sockets, and floods the closet underneath it. We have had nothing but terrible experiences for the year we have been stuck with AHS and I wouldn't recommend them to ANYONE.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $500.

American Home Shield Cons: Customer service for repair scheduling and following, Bad customer care, Subpar services offered, No emergency action.
