Contractor, Eurolit was overcharging for parts that come with water heater already attached from factory. He flatly Refused to give me a cash receipt for $75.00 Service fee and to write an estimate for the job.

Told me it was done when he finished job. He Could not do it when requested even though it was leaking and flooding and had to cut water off; yet American Home Shield refused to Cancel work order. City Building Permit had not been paid for nor Issued nor even printed by city building department; and plumber could not get hot water heater until probably on 04/12/2017 afternoon. NOT THE BEST EXPERIENCE AT ALL.

Contract terms ARE contradictory Section 4, says: “Covered: all components and parts, except for Holding or expansion tanks”. And Exclusionary clauses are way too broad and not defined well enough for actual everyday interpretation. WHY refuse request for cash payment in Lieu of Replacement when requested on a timely bases and for valid reasons? How about when emergencies arise.

I requested payment to enable me to do job today on 04/11/17; was refused with very poor Customer service; I was on Hold for such a long time I quit waiting. I am filing formal complaint with ADR.ORG and with the BBB.
