On the 25th of June, we reported our water heater out. The plumber came out 3 days later and took the information and stated he would order the water heater ( but of course it needed $440.00 worth of parts that AHS does not cover ).

He came back on the 30th of June with the wrong water heater as he wrote down the wrong information and stated he would be back in a day or so. On July 7th, we called AHS as we still had no water heater and no one called. Veronica in customer service answered the call after 1 1/2 hours on hold. She stated they would concession the $125.00 service fee toward the $440.00 and that the plumber would most likely contact us in a day.

Yesterday, after holding 1 1/2 hours on the phone, we got the pleasure of speaking to Erica - the top-notch person who has no supervisor in the escalation dept. She could not tell us when we would get a water heater nor does she have any supervisors. Today is day 17 and no hot water heater but we got an e-mail stating our service order was complete. REALLY??

This company is a joke. I have written to the BBB and will continue to write complaints and call maybe even seek legal counsel.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Preferred solution: Deliver product or service ordered.

American Home Shield Pros: Veronica in customer service - only helpful person.

American Home Shield Cons: False promises, Fustrating, Customer service rep lied, Subpar contractors, Poor service providers, Very poor customer service, Worst of worst, Literally nonexistent customer service, Not being problem solvers, Turn around time.
