Noticed water coming out of our heating unit Saturday morning in single digit cold weather. On hold for over 20 minutes waiting for customer service.

Rep was useless and unhelpful. He assigned a contractor to come out. Only gave us name and phone no, of contractor, would not give address of company saying they couldn't do that. Asked if the company he was assigning had emergency hours, said he didn't know.

Asked if there was a better company that they could assign that had emergency hours. Said computer generates the assigned contractor and could only re-assign it if no response from company. I would have to call back AHS if no response. Basically he provided no options and this was all he was going to do for us.

Called contractor. Left message on machine, no response. Took out the yellow pages and started calling independent contractors to pay out of pocket. So much for having the warranty or help of AHS.

Contract is up in a month, will not renew. There is value in cutting out the middle man and having someone local you can rely on in an emergency!

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $300.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.
