They do not do what they advertise and I would love to join the class action suit! Did not replace my disposal with the quality I had. Sink line stopped up, could not get someone out on the weekend. Hot water heater died and they said it would be replaced in 24 hours....

FYI, all parts houses are closed on the weekends. Most close at 4:30pm on Friday and reopen at 8am on Monday, if there is no holiday. They close for all major holidays—YES eve...

American Home Shield - I need answers to a problem

I called ahs on 6/9/19 . water heater broke. water all over. made 7 calls to ahs and they could not locate a vendor. Called a local plumber who came shut water off and cleaned up and put water heater in the next day. Ahs vendor finally called me on 6/10/19. said they had weekend off. Now ahs refuses to reimburse me. I have had a home warranty with them for several years. Can you help me?

American Home Shield - Don't buy your home warranty with this company

I bought a home in January and was covered by Home Warranty for Air Conditioner. I never used the air conditioner until June and it did not work. I called American Home Shield and kept getting the Philippines who kept sending out contractors who could not replace the compressor on my Air Conditioner. Obviously, they did not want to replace my Air Conditioner. When I called customer service it is in the Philippines. Not a great experience because they have no authority and can and will only send you to another technician who does not do compressors. When I asked to be transferred to the US, all I got was another excuse. This is the worst experience ever.

American Home Shield - Took 3 service fees of $75 in Feb 2019-Still waiting on refund

A Feb 2019 service call resulted in AHS taking three $75 fees from my checking account. One is valid and two in error. They refunded one of the erroneous deductions at the end of Feb. Here it is June and MANY emails to them about the last refund they owe me and still waiting. They also make it next to impossible to find email addresses or phone numbers for management personnel so that you can escalate your issue to a higher level. I only had one because of an issue a couple of years ago.
