They are failing to service a senior citizen client of mine on a concerning safety claim in a timely manner. After he paid top dollar for a home warranty he is getting slow, non-priority treatment on an electrical issue thats presenting many safety issues: crackling light switches, blown out TV, having to run cords everywhere creating a tripping hazard, fluctuating power levels, breakers tripping, etc. Further, after being told he was prioritized on a Thursday via email, while being WARNED that if he called his OWN ELECTRICIAN it would not be covered, he failed to hear from anyone for a full 5 days, at which time we found out the contractor hadn’t even been called for 2 day following his confirmation email promisingly priority contact.
When notified they delayed another entry day because THEY have a protocol of waiting 4 hrs to call anyone else, and only to have TWO ELECTRICIANS to choose from (REFUSING TO GO OUTSIDE THEIR INSIDE-DEALING SYSTEM despite the emergent circumstances. And... another 2 day wait ensued.
The rep pays only lip service to our appeals for help, sending the standard answer that its being handled, blatantly ignoring contractors that could actually help who we found on our own.
User's recommendation: Don’t buy a warranty here - their protocols do NOT prioritize customer safety in any way.
