Simple case of a front load washing machine bearing going bad after 6 years of use. After four trips by three different technicians, American Home Shield refused to pay for repair or replacement.
The reason for not replacing or fixing the unit changed twice within 2 weeks. First, they claimed the unit was overloaded. One week later, they said there was nothing mechanically wrong with the unit, followed one week later by the original story of the unit being overloaded. None of the signed paperwork from the technicians stated that the unit was overloaded.
I have all the paperwork so I will go to small claims court. Seems like an easy case to win. I've spent a total of at least 2-3 hours on the phone with AHS, trying to resolve this case.
I would recommend not doing business with this company. They are absolutely fraudulent and dishonest.
