My home was built in 1954 . Recently I had an electrical outage in my bedroom outlets and two outlets in another room.
The main cause of the problem was the age of wear and tear of the wires. We have not overloaded the outlets because we are using the same electrical devices as always. To keep from repairing and honoring the warranty contract AHS has a clause that protect itself by using the term overload. Yes it just common sense that if the wiring is aging and for years we have use the same electronic devices nothing added it wasn't overloaded but had lived it lifespan.
The contract says replace wiring ....One service man says he didn't want to do it because he would have to connect to the existing older wiring. If there is anyone who have had this similar issues please contact me.
I am considering a class action or independent law suit. This is not fair and honorable of the company.
