First call: My AC was broken. AHS denied the replacement of the unit even though the technician told me that there is no possible repair but he cannot say that to AHS. He requested $800,oo (to refill) since AHS does not cover for gas + 100 for the visit. $900,oo for refilling the AC without guarantee that it will work! If you want the words "it is our policy" then they are the company to use.They cannot and will not tell the customer the truth or step outside of their comfort zone to try to help....they have left me with no air conditioning for 6 days so far and I am 62 with high blood pressure and going through menopause. First, American Home Shield sent me a lesser contract than what I paid for. After repeated requests they corrected the contract but not until I had already paid someone else to fix a water heater. I have a home warranty through AHS and have had an open order for over 1 month. I have tried to call AHS and never get my call picked up through the customer service # .
