I am investigating whether AHS has continued to charge for their "preventative maintenance" plans even though no services are offered. AHS apparently ended their preventative maintenance program in spring 2014, but I am aware of at least one instance where they continued to charge the customer's account on a monthly basis.
AHS then refused to send out a technician for a service call due to the end of the program, even though the customer had been charged.
Has this happened to anyone else?
Is anyone still being charged by American Home Shield for a preventative maintenance plan? If so, I would be interesting in hearing about it and would recommend contacting AHS.
