This is the seventh time I have had a trouble call with my Air Conditioning unit since moving in in 2006. This time our AC went out on Sunday, 6 June and we called it into American Home Shield. They referred us to American Residential Serives of FLorida (Florida Home AC) and the soonest they could get out was Tuesday morning.

The technician came out and said it was a blown capacitor (same story each time)and said the part was still under warranty. I still had to pay the $60 service fee and I told the guy it was not working properly. It didn't sound right even after he exchanged the part. We went out for the day and came back and the house was still extremely warm.

I was assured through both that someone would be here Weds morning and of course no one came. The company blamed the warranty and the warranty company said they are at the mercy of the repair company.

All excuses, no answers, rude customer service, beware - you wll be dissapointed if you use either.
