I have opened multiple service requests with this company.The first was for a broken pipe. The contract company called me immediately to set an appointment, but could not make it for week. I had to fix myself. Three other issues like this. AHS says that someone will contact you within 24 hours, and have your repair fixed within three days. have been a loyal customer of American Home Shields for six years. My AC stopped working three weeks ago. The first time I waited over 26 minutes to talk to someone. The agent said someone will come out to check the problem within 24 hours. My A/C broke in June and it took a week for an American Home Shield appointment. After $150 later for the coolant my A/C was fixed? Fast-forward to Aug 16 my A/C went down again. This time it took American Home Shield two weeks to get someone out to look at it. We are under warranty to have him come out but he is now tell us it will be four days to come out. I am cancelling my contract with this money hungry company.If you have any air conditioning problems or gas problems they will not help you. You will still be financially obligated to repair those items. Not good customer service, place service call last weekend.A/C still not fixed. Very hard to get info from AHS, once you get them, they hang up on you. My landlady has a contract with this mess of a company. The AC in my unit has been breaking every once in a while and im stuck without it for days because they only have one technician working in my area or so i was told. They dont honor appointment times and there were times they just didnt show up without even calling. Horrible company

This is the third company I have been given to fix my AC and no one is here. I get that the previous job may have taken longer but a simple courtesy call to say you are running late would go a long way. I am so through with AHS for poor oversight of these companies.
