An electric service call was placed for an attic and both fan. Both making bad sounds. The attic fan located above a bedroom and the day it started to make noise the temperature in that room rose 10 degrees. The electrician claims it is only noise, however, put on the receipt that they would replace the motor for $280.00. If it is only noise why would they need to replace the motor? The same was written on receipt for the bath fan.

Also today I am expecting a service call from a plumber for service on a garbage disposal for the third time for the same issue. Each time I am required to pay a service fee. Amazingly the disposal seizes up always well past the time for the company to come back and repair it without my being charged again. This time I did the loosening with the allen wrench plus pushed the red button EVERY day since placing this call and it didn't turn on. They arrive sticks his hand up under the disposal and wham it starts! So three at $60.00 is $180.00 which I would have to believe is more than a replacement garbage disposal. I feel like I am throwing money away.

And two weeks ago I had a service man out for repair on a microwave. The service tech advised that the parts were going to be approximately $150.00 or more. This is the second time I had service for the microwave. So two at $60.00 is $120.00 plus parts, plus the cost of service calls from Sears and then the cost of service techs for initial call and repair visit,

I am again left thinking what is this company doing? They are approving the parts cost, plus the tech time, and I paid $120.00 for the service fee, that has to add up to more than the replacement cost of a 25 year old microwave.

Dial 1-866-305-0259 as stated above. When the phone system says "Thank you for calling American Home Shield.... please enter your Representative's Extension" -

DO THE FOLLOWING:

Enter Ext. # 1000

The Greeting will then say: "Welcome to Avia Messaging, please enter the mailbox # of the person you are calling.... IF YOU DON'T KNOW THE MAILBOX NUMBER, PRESS STAR (*) TO SPELL THE NAME"....

After that sentence, IMMEDIATELY PRESS STAR (*) - then spell David Crawford's LAST NAME:

just input, "CRAW".... you will then be taken to: DAVE CRAWFORD'S VOICEMAIL....

Kindly leave your message.

If you want to call bluff - redial the 1-866 number above, go to Ext. 1000 and then input Judy's Extension "2100" (Judy Peedic - The Executive Assistant to David Crawford) - it will take you to her voicemail (or she will pick up) - so the Avia Messaging System is that of AHS...

Also, another Executive Assistant to David Crawford is a person by the name of "Matthew Boyd" his extension is 2103 at the same 1-866 number listed above (again, his extension also works in the Avia Messaging System @ AHS).

I hope American Home Shield makes right on alot of the breach of contract issues... :)

Don't bother following any of the contact directions posted by "ANON" as it is out-dated. David Crawford resigned from A.H.S.

in July, 2012.

Your best bet is to contact A.H.S. parent company at www.servicemaster.com
