American Home Shield - After 18 years of paying for a homeowner's policy, I was abruptly told (after a 20+minute wait on hold) that AHS will not renew my policy. No written , text or phone call
After 18 years of paying for a homeowner's policy, in force since I purchased the house in 2000, I discovered that my policy will expire next month, with no opportunity to renew it. This Just happened today.
After my concern that I did not receive a bill for renewed coverage. I attempted to renew online, and failed. I called, and reached a representative, who put me on hold for 20 minutes. Then she said that AHS no longer covers my 96753 zip code.
"Have a nice day, " were her last words. After 18 years, no written notice, no e-mail to my account, no phone call to alert me to their plan to "NO LONGER SERVICE MY ZIP CODE.
