Our family of 6 has been without hot water for a week now. According to the customer service rep not having hot water is not an emergency. I don't know about you but being able to shower and clean dishes is kind of an important thing. In order to get the part covered by warranty which is a common part we have to wait another full weekend for hot water. I placed several of my properties with AHS thinking that they were a reputable company. Being a real estate broker, I bet my reputation that they would honor the contract and make sure they would make proper repairs in a timely manner. My experience with them is they have contractors that are sub-par in many cases. When they send out Sears or GE, they do a great job. Do NOT use this company. They will not return calls. There is a "no reply" e mail when sending out their e mails asking for money. I have spoken to 2 operators, Dianna and Shar, both hung up on me, when I questioned a $100 service fee when no one came and fixed anything. And that was after being on hold for over 2 hours. I am on hold again now, so far 22 mins, to cancel my affiliation with them. You cannot cancel on line, you cant do anything...

The contract is worthless with these folks. I have a major plumbing problem that is covered by this contract. That is if they do not have to access the problem thru something other than sheet rock. They cut a hole in my ceiling and could not get to the source of the problem. They needed to cut the back of a cabinet. Sorry they do not cut into wood??? They sent out a "Qualified service Repair Professional" who said that he had never seen an HVAC system like this one. It was a Trane Heat Pump System...very common. He then tested the heat from the vents and declared that it was working...even though it wasn't. He handed us a bill for $75. I said that I wasn't going to pay for someone who didn't know what he was looking at and his response was that we would have to pay it through AHS. he left....
