We called AHS about our stove not working properly. They sent out a technician and he looked at our problem and ordered parts.
When the aftermarket kit arrived they came back out and installed the new parts. It did not fix the issue since it was an aftermarket kit (per technician) He contacted AHS to tell them the replacement parts did not fix the issue AHS ordered more parts to be installed. When they arrived it was the same kit. Now mind you this was a week later that the new kit arrived so we are into week three already without a stove.
The new/same parts did not fix the issue and the technician said he would be contacting AHS to let them know the parts needing to fix the stove were not available. Again the same kit was ordered and a different technician arrived and told us the parts would not fix the issue. Keep in mind that the stove would not shut off unless it was unplugged and we found that out when we came home and the burner was on high and with no one around and potentially could have caught on fire. Again a call was made to AHS and the same parts/kit was ordered.
When another technician came by he had seen all the other orders and said nothing could be done he contacted AHS and said that the stove was unrepairable and that they were done messing with it.
So all in all it took us 6 months total to get a new stove that worked. Ahs probably spent more than $1,000 on parts and labor to get us an $500 stove.
