No ac for 3 weeks and not getting service I pay for

Service technician sent to house was rude asked for cash out / new technician and havent received any new info. Have called multiple times and have had to move out of house due to no ac for our 10 month old baby.

Call to American Home Shield

They informed me that they do not repair secondary issues per the contract. That's all I needed to know. Everything is fine.

I'm mad

December 9, an initial claim filed, no response for almost 2 weeks. Called customer service was advised contractor refused to work on stove, claim reopened, 2nd vendor came and said couldn't fix the oven. Claim reassigned to the 3rd vendor, didn't come in for a 1 1/2 weeks after holiday, unable to cook for entire holiday season. Monday January 16, your customer service called the vendor and advised me oven needed to be replaced. Today advised they want to send the 4th vendor, I have been lied to by the customer service and the vendor, each blaming the other. Taking n other day off again for the vendor is not acceptable and ability to speak with the customer complaint department not being available is very poor business ethics. I am requesting an immediate phone call from your customer complaint denartment. not from vour customer service. User's recommendation: Don’t use AHS

Poor service request

My Samsung 4 door refrigerator isnt working properly. I notified American Home Shield immediately. Within minutes, I received confirmation that AC-1 Appliance repair would contact me promptly. 24 hours later, they called to say that they couldnt come until Monday afternoon. My refrigerator broke in Wednesday. When AC 1 repair called, the fellow explained what was wrong with my refrigerator and wasnt sure he could fix it. He explained that even though its 3 years old, that isnt new. He said that my company was bought by a Korean company and these machines are built to last 5 years only. At this point, I could hear children running around; lots of family noisesdidnt seem professional to me. When I called earlier, My call was answered by a robot; literally a robot type voice saying that he would be back in the office at 3:30. Thats about when he called from a home setting. But to say that I would need to wait until Monday with the possibility of all of my food going bad. I suggested that perhaps I would notify American Home Shield and see if I could get someone else out sooner. He stated adamantly that they would never cancel him. Well he was right. I called AHS and spoke to a gal in Philippines who tried; leaving me on hold several times, and each time validating his comment. They will not assign anyone else. So I canceled the call, and found a repair company in Henderson with a 5 star rating on Yelp who will come tomorrow morning. When I mentioned my experience with American Home Shield, she said Oh I am so glad that you mentioned that. We are under contract with AHS. Just call them back and ask them to send us. I explained that they refused to send anyone else. She agreed to call them. She then told me that AHS told her that I was to call back AHS and ask for them and give their vendor number. So I did. Once again, I was on the phone with the Philippines explaining what I had been told. He continued to explain that the system will automatically book the company that is first available. I explained that the system must be broken because they booked AC 1 Appliance and they are not available !! But Absolute Appliance is one of their approved companies and they are available tomorrow morning at 8 am. He tried ..I know he did. He even wrote a note on my repair order. I got a new dispatch number and gave it to Absolute Appliance Repairs. They are coming in the morning. Sad to say; ten minutes later, I received a new dispatch assigning AC -1 to the job. with the new dispatch number that I just gave to Absolute Appliance. Automated systems, no humans to listen unless they are thousands of miles away and helpless to help.

Sears didn’t show up for appt set changed appt to a week later need a different company

Took off work for sears to come fix refrigerator never showed up got a text at 7:00 that night they moved my apt a week out need to have more options for service repairs

Poor Customer Service

American Home Shield left me and my family in the freezing cold winter. During the coldest days of the year. I ended up having to pay for my own furnace to get repaired and they refused to reimburse me because their technicians were incompetent.

Service issues

These clowns. No, thieves. They take my money every month, like clockwork. Then when I have an electrical problem, they say ok J.E.M. Electric will call to schedule a service call. No call, no show. Then they send an *** with no tools, just a camera. He looked at an outlet started counting outlets & said he'd report to AHS. In my home a total of six minutes. They have no US based customer service, they obsfucate, lie and make excuses til I couldn't deal with them anymore. DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR MONEY!!!

Lack of satisfaction

I have been waiting since November 4 for a control board for my heater. I personally think this is an outrageous amount of time to wait for a part for my furnace. If the part can not be found in more than 2 months that only means the furnace can not be repaired obviously. This same situation occurred last year at this time and it was decided that the furnace needed to be replaced. Check the past records on my account. While during the process of getting all the paperwork done for some reason furnace went on and shortly after that weather warmed up, now this year same problem occurred. I have called every other day and I get the same excuse. Now they think I should wait until February for the part with no guarantee that it will arrive then. Furnace needs to be replaced, I have been paying my monthly bills for many years without any problems and you have gladly taken my money and now you are not willing to replace this furnace. A cash out offer has been mentioned but in the contract it states that if an item can not be repaired it will be replaced. I have resorted to the fact that I have started filling out arbitration forms since no matter who I talk to or what l do I am still suffering with no heat. Please inform if I should go ahead with my plan or are you willing to take care of this immediately User's recommendation: Do not let American Home Shield fool you
