American Home Shield Warranty Company keeps sending out the same appliance company 6 times to fill my refrigerator

I have called multipule times to have my refrigerator repaired with American Home Appliance Repair no success and have requested them to send another company that knows what they are doing and they want to charge me another $75.00 to send another company because I don't want American Home Appliance Repair back. The don't diagnosis correctly. They order parts and put them on and still no fix. I don't know what it is but I have had the same problem with HSC Home Service Club also. I think the hire terrible contractors for cheap to do there work. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for a home warranty company.

I agree. I have had nothing but bad experiences with ahs (call wait times, TERRIBLE contractors, no show contractors, etc.). This warranty is not worth the money. I would be much better off putting the 77 bucks I pay a month to ahs PLUS the service call fee aside to use toward expenses for repairs by qualified professional reliable contractors. I question whether the positive reviews for ahs on here are really from customers or whether they are from ahs customers service reps killing time so they won't have to answer customers calls....hence the 45 minute plus wait time I have anytime I try to reach AHS.

American Home Shield Doesn't Honor Contracts

This company is amazing. The call center supervisor just informed me that my house was build around my HVAC system incorrectly! I would love to see a house build where the HVAC system went in before the actual construction of the home. However, this is the argument of the supervisor on why my improper installation coverage would not cover this repair. Since the contractor did not state the system was installed improperly but that the system did not meet the design of the house...... I have since called the corporate number 901-597-8000 and spoken with someone there who is suppose to be calling me back. Hopefully this time it will be taken care of. If not I will be requesting a full refund along with the service I have paid for contractors to not do anything. How they are listed as the best home warranty company is beyond me.

American Home Shield made numerous mistakes on their end and are now expecting me to pay for them! They are inconsiderate and rude. They have done nothing to help, but have said it was my fault. Do not use them as your warranty company!!!!

called for leaky toilet.a co. called pnr out of grove city came out after i had to call them 4 days later,collected my 75.00 & informed me to make repairs to the floor & they would come back & replace the comode. its been 33 days since we fixed the floor & called them back. set up 4 different appts and never showed up..still not fixed.lousy service workers and lieing representives.this co. should be shut down.they take our money every month and then wont send out an honest company to service our appliances.i am canceling my contract.

My recommendation, save your money and forget AHS. have had ahs coverage for 2 years.....and ac unit problems have yet to be resolved....been on hold 20 min so far this time....been without ac for 3 days.....bedrm last nite was 80f......other part of house was 87f......i dont understand how ahs has so many "high" ratings.....but you know....our business is important to them.....ya right. And with my ac out, i have already paid $360 for replacement freon R22 at a total quoted replacement cost of $50 per pound with $40 per pound charged to me.....checked....sounds like the total cost is an above cost amount being charged. How can i be chatged for freon when my unit is not working?

Average wait time: 34min15sec. Unacceptable! Called AMS several (5-6) times. They want you to use the *** website to reduce interpersonal interaction and incur cost savings. So I tried to go along with their cost saving plan and request several appliance repair on website Unsucessfully! So I ended up calling anyway. Over the past 10 days, I have had many discussions with different customer service reps. These 6 things are self evident:I have no fridge! ….Customer can not speak to a supervisor or manager in the Customer service dept. Customer can not speak: to authorization department or to upgraded to emergency status even though you have been expecting call backs or responses for over 8 days. . Authorization will not call customer back with in 24hrs. I have had better followup interaction with the IRS.

American Home Shield in Rocklin, California - Poor customer service

I recently switched from First American due to poor customer servive and extended delays for service. AHS rep was on my phone frequently to assure the contract. This is my third try contacting them re: the policy for my rental. I have been on the phone now 45 minutes- to discover the address was incorrect on the rental and that my spa was not included in the policy as asked. I was transferred to the sales dept. to be informed that I would have to pay it in full to add this-wasn't my fault--So frustrated --she was happy to transfer me to a manager to cancel my policy!!! guess they don't need business-My frustration grows as I continue to hold!!!
