Bad customer service

50 minutes on hold just to ask if we could get another repair company referal that might have better appointment times. Was told we would have to cancel current appmnt. to take a chance on a better time with another company. Kept asking why can't we just call some of your other authorized repair companies to ask if we could get a better time and was told no (after waiting another 20 minutes to speak with a supervisor that never hapened). bad bad bad bad bad bad have to fill up 100 words as as as as as as as as as 50 minutes on hold just to ask if we could get another repair company referal that might have better appointment times. I have attempted to get service for my dishwasher. They are unable find an available contractor. They authorized so I could call someone myself and that vendor would need to call them with the service needed before repairs then I would pay and be reimbursed. No repair...

You are right. The worst warranty company ever. Never pays for covered items or asks customer to pay for most of repair cost under the guise of code upgrade or unnecessary items at 5 times the cost.

Awful service! Not worth the fee! Scam!

AHS is a company that does not conduct professonal service. Long call wait times, unable to speak to a representative and given conflicting information. Was told my oven would be replaced by one Rep and told that that would not be honored by another Rep. Was offered $230 to replace my Themadore Oven. Feel like this company is a scam. Better Business Bureau really need to look into this company's policies.

We did resolve why I was unable to set up an account with them online since I was unable to reach them on the phone lines due to over one hour waits to talk to a human. They changed the spelling of my email address because they thought I had spelled it wrong. They changed hart to heart.

Home garbage disposal

for over 2 weeks the plumbing company has made appointment with me to install a garbage disposal and then they cancel the appointment the same day without any notice. I've had shoulder surgery and have had to cancel rehab appointments for this company's appointments and the they cancel saying they couldn't get this appliance. I went on line and I could get this 1 hp garbage disposal sent to my home in two days. They canceled again today SAYING" they do not have one and had to order it on line and told me they would be here Monday October 2nd. So now I have to cancel another rehab appointment and again I have no assurance that they will show up. so far I AM VERY DISSAPPOINTED WITH YOUR COMPANY. SOMETHING AS SIMPLE AS REPLACING A GARBAGE DISPOSAL HAS TURNED INTO A FIASCO . I'M AFFRAID TO THINK WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF IT WAS MY AIR CONDITIONER. Right now I would never recommend your company. I have been put on hold a twice now I have been waiting over 30 minutes to talk to a representative. I will definetly let my real estate agent know.

This company suckkks so bad. My ac has been broken each month for almost 6 years now. They have the crappiest contractors. The garage is always broken too. The contractor come looking for their $75 and don't do anything!! Then come back the next day talking ab the part...

The most horrible company ever! Do not waste your hard earned dollars.

I have been waiting two hours for some to answer their phone. I finally gave up listening to that horrible music.

Very bad Contractor

My name is Salah Boules Contract # 16407**** My address 435 Mondale St, Corona, CA I asked for service Pipe leak, They sent me contractor called Inter City Plumbing was the worst contractor ever They sent on person first day without any equipment to find out where there is the leak, he can't find anything .On different day the second guy came without any equipment and tools, for tracking time he came late one hour excusing he was in Home Depot to get some materials, he spent three hours to find out where the leak because he didn't have any equipment, he dogged the concrete in the garage under the water heater, he did't find anything he start to call his boss every 10 minutes to find how to solve the problem, his boss told him you have to digging at another room, he did and left the floor for the garage and the other room without patching what he did, asked me to get him ladder and hose to empty the water heater, not professional at all the Guy did a big damage for the floor and the drywall and asked me to get another company to fix what he did ... otherwise i have to pay $ 500, the total damage will cost me $ 1600 to fix the dry wall and the concrete and garage floor Epoxy, i need my money for this damage Thanks,

Horrible experience

I have been with AHS for over 5 years. This time it over exceeded my complete disappointment. We have been without a refrigerator for a total of 11 weeks now and counting. The hours waiting for a customer service rep on the phone and total of 6 different techs that cannot get it right is absurd. I have lost over $400 OF FOOD IN THE FIRST 2 TIMES MY REFRIDGERATOR HAS BEEN SERVICED. There has not been a repair done. All that has been done is charging of the Freon and misdiagnosing of the issue. This last repair guy from Ash something company, informed AHS he was at my house at 2:30 pm on September 26th knocking on the door and no one opened and left. I have been taking time off from work and was there no one came to my home as it is false information. I am beyond stressed. I am frustrated as I have a 3 yr old who still drinks milk. He wants it in the night and have to be buying ice every single night due to this. Never have I been so upset and mistreated.

No way to email them. Difficult to contact.

This company hides. If you are lucky enough to have one of the few problems they list on their help page and lucky enough to have the problem fixed well by the repair person, then you are set. But, if you need one of many repairs not listed or your repair wasn't done correctly, then it is very difficult and time consuming to try to get a hold of this company. The only way I have found to get a response is to make a complaint on a social media channel that they monitor. They will then give you an email address to contact them. They are concerned about their image, but not concerned about customer service.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, NOT WORTH MY MONEY OR TIME !!

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND AHS TO ANYONE! !!! I've been without air since the 16th and am running out of patience. The contractor I was assigned never answers or returns my calls. He came out Monday and was supposed to return on Tuesday, he barely turned in the diagnosis Thursday. Every one of my rooms are filled with fans ,and running up my electricity bill. The waiting time to reach a representative in over an hour and a half. I'm getting sick of this company . Me and my two kids are in this HEAT BOX and I need talk to an executive ASAP !!!

Two months to fix. Trash compactor

These guys have quite the racket going. I have never called them and not after 30 minutes have the call drop so I could do it again. I would bet money it is a protocol they engage so out of frustration people move on. Seriously considering a class action suit against these clowns. They might pay claims but they make it incredibly hard so as to discourage folks from proceeding. Me not so much . If you're interested in a class action suit email me at gcortes001@***l. Refuse to repair pipes

Because the company said that the house is shifting, that's making the pipes leak from the toilet. I believe this is unfair, how would anyone know when the house is going to shift. AHS said that I could get a quote from some one else but if the quote is the same, I will be changed a service fee. Why pay for some you can not use. This is unfair that these are things you don't know before getting a plan for repairs. I hope something changes because I can not pay for some I can not use. I do not want to change from AHS, but why continue to pay for a service that rejects your claim.

Feel Trapped with American Home Shield

I feel trapped with AHS. I make payment every month but when I need them it is a nightmare. Even the very first step of contacting them is not easy. If you call them it is always "due heavy call volume your wait will more than 30 minutes or one hour". Their state-of-the-art online service is a horrible experience. Once you fill it up after some back and forth if you are lucky. At most of time it either could not find my contract or it says that it expired. So I had to call them and wait for a minimum of 45 minutes. I cannot believe that they are not aware of their horrible customer service. They know that as they almost have monopoly in this field they can get away with anything. I have just scratched the surface. If your appliance need some major repairs or replacement. You will end up having high blood pressure due to the stress they get you in. It took me two months for replacement of my dishwasher with God only knows how many stressful hours on phone. You will not find any place on their website to contact them via email. Obviously the top Executives are not interested in our feedback except for their fat salaries and bonuses and stocks.

I am on the same boat with you. We have home insurance which covered all appliances in the house.

Washing machine is so old and stopped working over a month ago. They sent AT appliances to fix.

It's over a month now and issue still not fixed. I called the number on the contract to speak to a representative but it's almost one hour now and am still on hold.

Weve had AHS for over 20years & the last few have been horrific. Customer service is a complete fiasco, unreliable.

Doesnt keep their word, seems so big not one dept kniwd what the other had said or done, you have to speak to multiple people everytime with no resolution.

We wont renew again, were done with them. Since Tim Haynes became CEO their "Customer Service " id non existant, if you are unhappy...they just hang up on you..And we PAY for this....really?
