This company is over charging me for my coverage by $130 and I have tried five times to correct it and now they are ignoring me. Think three times before using these people. I have had several bad experiences using their service providers. Some are good and others I will not let back on my property. Had a major plumbing problem and they could not find anyone until 3 days later. That was not going to work as I had water damage leaking through onto my ceiling in my gameroom below. Vendors never called and when ahs called them they lied and said they reached out to me. Still waiting for an ac vendor to be assigned. Rude customer service and want to tell me how busy they are ...... Do I care no.

Expect to be put on hold for 30 minutes to an hour every time you call. You can expect to call a average of 15 times to get the status on one the repair order. There is no way to resolve questions through email or chat. Took 6 months to finally get authorization for a new refrigerator that could not be repaired. American home shield has the worst customer service. Their system is set up so their customers can not speak with a manager who has the autonomy to resolve issues. They have placated me for 3 months and refuse to respond as well as failing to reimburse me $399 for an out of pocket repair. Their service is the worst I have experienced in my adult life. They keep billing me for a $125 service fee. Incorrect. When I got my warranty they gave me two free service calls and this is one of them. I told them a month ago when I got the first bill, but they didn't keep their promise to fix it. Now I cannot reach them. My account is blocked online because of the 'overdue' bill. Awful customer service. Called 4 times everytime on phone on hold 50 minutes. Said they will call back they never do. Still waiting for response.

This company has bad service. Every single time I call is over an hour. I never ever got my $25 referral credits and have been chasing just like the other individual. I also was supposed to be sent a check instead of repairs since I replaced them instead of opting to fix them, and they lost the check twice. I'm very frustrated and referred several people. I have had their contract a few times . They fix stuff which breaks again their service phone support is horrible long wait times. When I called to cancel last time they gave me a $200 credit for customer retention that was nice but then I wasn't happy with what happened after that.
